Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 1/3 sticks margarine, melted
- 1 small pkg. Stove Top stuffing mix
- 1 1/3 c. hot water
- 1 can cream of celery, mushroom or chicken soup
- grated cheese
Method
- Brown meat and onion (and celery if desired).
- Blend margarine, stuffing and water.
- In a 2-quart casserole, layer the meat mixture with stuffing, 1/2 meat, all stuffing, remaining 1/2 meat.
- Blend 1/4 cup water with soup and pour over casserole. Sprinkle top with grated cheese.
- Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Serves 5 to 6.
