Ingredients
- 4 whole chicken breasts or 3 lb. boneless chicken breast
- 2 cans undiluted mushroom soup
- 1 large (16 oz.) sour cream
- 1 envelope onion soup mix (optional)
- 1 small pkg. stuffing mix
- 1 (18 or 20 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli
- 1 pkg. Cheddar cheese
Method
- In buttered 9 x 12-inch dish, place frozen broccoli.
- Boil chicken (45 minutes or until done).
- Cool and cut into bite size pieces.
- Combine soups and sour cream.
- Mix in chicken.
- Put Cheddar cheese on top of broccoli.
- Spread chicken mixture on top of cheese and broccoli.
- Prepare stuffing according to package directions.
- Place on top of meat mixture.
- Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour at 350°.
- Let stand 10 minutes before serving. Makes 8 servings.
