Ingredients

  • 4 whole chicken breasts or 3 lb. boneless chicken breast
  • 2 cans undiluted mushroom soup
  • 1 large (16 oz.) sour cream
  • 1 envelope onion soup mix (optional)
  • 1 small pkg. stuffing mix
  • 1 (18 or 20 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli
  • 1 pkg. Cheddar cheese

Method

  • In buttered 9 x 12-inch dish, place frozen broccoli.
  • Boil chicken (45 minutes or until done).
  • Cool and cut into bite size pieces.
  • Combine soups and sour cream.
  • Mix in chicken.
  • Put Cheddar cheese on top of broccoli.
  • Spread chicken mixture on top of cheese and broccoli.
  • Prepare stuffing according to package directions.
  • Place on top of meat mixture.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour at 350°.
  • Let stand 10 minutes before serving. Makes 8 servings.
