Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
  • 2 pkg. dry yeast
  • 5 c. flour
  • 2 1/2 c. warm water
  • white powdered sugar (to dust)
  • cinnamon (to sprinkle over)

Method

  • Mix cake mix, yeast, flour and warm water.
  • Let rise until double in size.
  • Cut dough in half.
  • Roll into rectangle on a floured surface; spread with butter or oleo.
  • Sprinkle with white powdered sugar and cinnamon.
  • Roll in jelly roll fashion; cut into 2-inch rolls.
  • Repeat with second half of dough.
  • Place in two greased 9 x 13-inch pans.
  • Let rise.
  • Bake at 375° for 25 minutes.
