Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 c. oil
  • 1/2 c. white wine
  • 2 to 3 tsp. minced garlic
  • 1/4 tsp. oregano
  • 3 to 4 bay leaves
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. pepper
  • 2 lb. large shrimp (unpeeled)

Method

  • Melt butter; add remaining ingredients except shrimp.
  • Mix well, then add shrimp.
  • Leave in marinade for at least 3 to 4 hours in refrigerator.
  • Grill until bright orange, then brush with marinade again.
  • Grill 5 additional minutes, then serve hot. Yield:
