Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
- 6 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. vinegar
- 1 bottle liquid pectin
- 1/2 c. chopped hot peppers
- green food coloring (few drops)
Method
- Combine peppers, sugar and vinegar.
- Bring to a hard boil over high heat.
- Remove and set aside for 20 minutes.
- Return to heat. Bring to a full rolling boil and boil for 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Add liquid pectin and food coloring.
- Stir, skim off foam and pour into hot jars.
- Cover with thin layer of paraffin wax.
