Ingredients
- 3 to 4 Granny Smith apples
- water
- cinnamon
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 stick margarine
Method
- Preheat oven to 375°.
- Peel and slice Granny Smith apples. Place in Pyrex dish, covering bottom.
- Add water to cover apples. Sprinkle with cinnamon and 2 tablespoons of sugar.
- Sprinkle dry cake mix over apples. Melt margarine and pour over cake.
- Sprinkle more cinnamon on top.
- Bake until golden brown, about 30 minutes.
