Ingredients
- 4 pork chops
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 1 Tbsp. shortening
- 1 can cream of chicken or mushroom soup
- 2/3 c. evaporated milk
- 1/3 c. water
- 1 small onion
Method
- Salt and lightly pepper pork chops.
- Brown chops in shortening and drain off drippings.
- Pour a mixture of soup, milk and water over chops.
- Add a thinly sliced onion if desired. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
- Stir gravy well before serving.
