Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats (old-fashioned)
  • 34 cup almonds
  • 12 cup toasted wheat germ
  • 12 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon light corn syrup
  • 14 cup brown sugar
  • 14 cup roasted sunflower seeds
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 14 teaspoon salt
  • 14 cup golden raisin
  • 14 cup dried apricot

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees and toast oats, almonds and sunflower seeds for 15 minutes and then lower heat to 300 degrees.
  • Grease a 9x9 glass baking dish.
  • Heat honey, corn syrup, sugar, salt, and vanilla over low heat in a small saucepan.
  • Combine with the rest of the ingredients in a large bowl.
  • Press down in baking dish and bake for 25 minutes.
  • Allow to cool completely before slicing into 8 bars.
