Ingredients
- 1 qt. dandelions, stems removed
- 4 qt. water
- 2 1/2 lb. sugar
- 1 sliced lemon
- 1 c. raisins
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
Method
- Combine all ingredients in 8-quart or larger kettle.
- Bring to a boil.
- Let cool.
- Stir in one package of dry yeast.
- Let stand in pot for 3 days.
- Skim off dandelions and rinds.
- Bottle* and keep in dry place.
