Ingredients
- 1 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 c. shortening or butter
- 2 eggs
- 3 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs one at a time; add vanilla and remaining ingredients. Knead dough on floured board; chill dough. Roll out on floured board; cut with biscuit cutter. Bake at 325° for 8 to 10 minutes.
