Ingredients
- 6 egg yolks
- 6 egg whites
- 1 quart half and half
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup brandy (or bourbon or 1/2 of each)
- dash salt
Method
- Beat egg yolks until very light. Add sugar and beat until smooth. Gradually add liquor and cream. Beat egg whiles very stiff and fold into the mixture. Serve chilled, with a sprinkle of nutmeg if desired.
