Ingredients
- 1 (46 oz.) Sacramento tomato juice
- 1 medium head cabbage (2 to 2 1/2 lb.)
- 2 beef bouillon cubes
- 2 c. water
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 tsp. Tabasco
Method
- Coarsely shred cabbage.
- In 4-quart saucepan, combine all ingredients.
- Bring to boil over medium-high heat.
- Reduce heat to low.
- Cover and simmer 45 minutes until cabbage is tender.
- Serve with hot crispy bread.
