Ingredients
- 6 chops, trim fat
- 2 Tbsp. fat
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- salt and pepper
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 3/4 c. water
- 1/2 tsp. ginger
- 1/4 tsp. rosemary
- 1 can fried onions
- 1/2 c. sour cream, if desired
Method
- In skillet, melt fat.
- Coat chops with 2 tablespoons flour and salt and pepper.
- Brown chops, then place in a cooking dish. Combine mushroom soup, water, ginger and rosemary.
- Pour over chops and sprinkle 1/2 can of fried onions on top.
- Cover with foil and bake at 350° for 50 minutes.
- Sprinkle rest of onions on top and bake 10 more minutes without cover.
- Add 1/2 cup sour cream, if desired.
