Ingredients
- 1 large can pineapple (undrained)
- 1 can cherry pie filling
- 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
- 2 1/2 c. miniature marshmallows
- 1 to 2 sticks margarine
Method
- Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Dump in the undrained pineapple. Push around to cover bottom of pan evenly.
- Dump cherry pie filling over the pineapple.
- Then dump the cake mix over this.
- Sprinkle sugar, chopped nuts and miniature marshmallows over the mix.
- Dot with margarine (1 to 2 sticks, depending on how rich you want it). Do not mix.
- Bake at 350° for 1 hour or until done.
- Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream as topping.
