Ingredients
- 2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. white Karo
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 egg whites
- 3/4 c. chopped nuts
- 1/2 c. cherries
Method
- Bring sugar, Karo and water to a boil.
- Boil until hard ball forms when dropped in a cup of cold water.
- Pour over beaten egg whites.
- Beat with mixer until thick.
- Add nuts and drop by spoonful onto waxed paper.
- Top with cherries.
