Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts (boneless and skinless)
- 8 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 c. melted butter
- 16 oz. can whole cranberry sauce
- 16 oz. pkg. phyllo dough, defrosted in refrigerator
Method
- Cut each chicken breast in half the short way and pound. Place 1 tablespoon cranberry sauce and 1 tablespoon butter on each half breast.
- Put two halves together with filling in middle.
- Cut dough in half the long way.
- Brush 4 pieces with melted butter. Stack 2 strips to make an "X" and 2 strips on top of that making a "+".
- Put filled chicken breast in center and pinch all ends together on top.
- Bake at 375° for 25 minutes.
- Serves 4.
