Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts (boneless and skinless)
  • 8 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 c. melted butter
  • 16 oz. can whole cranberry sauce
  • 16 oz. pkg. phyllo dough, defrosted in refrigerator

Method

  • Cut each chicken breast in half the short way and pound. Place 1 tablespoon cranberry sauce and 1 tablespoon butter on each half breast.
  • Put two halves together with filling in middle.
  • Cut dough in half the long way.
  • Brush 4 pieces with melted butter. Stack 2 strips to make an "X" and 2 strips on top of that making a "+".
  • Put filled chicken breast in center and pinch all ends together on top.
  • Bake at 375° for 25 minutes.
  • Serves 4.
