Ingredients
- 1lb scallops
- 3 cloves finely chopped garlic
- 1/2 tsp 5 spice powder
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1 small red chili pepper, seeded & finely chopped
- 2 TBSP soy sauce
- 1 TBSP rice wine (Mirin)
- 2 TBSP vegetable oil
- 3 TBSP water
- 1cup mizuna
Method
- Place scallops in shallow non-metal bowl.
- Combine garlic, 5 spice powder, ginger, chili pepper, soy sauce & mirin and pour over scallops.
- Cover a Saran Wrap & refrigerate 30 mins.
- Drain scallops, reserving marinade.
- Preheat grill a oil.
- Grill 2-3 mins each side.
- Remove.
- Add water to reserve marinade & boil 1 min.
- Drizzle a marinade.
- Serve a mizuna.
- Serves 2.
