Ingredients

  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 pound medium, peeled and deveined raw shrimp
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

Method

  • Peel the garlic, finely chop, and place in a large saute pan with the oil and red pepper flakes.
  • Cook over medium-high heat for 30 seconds.
  • Add the shrimp and lemon juice and cook, stirring constantly, for 3 to 4 minutes, until the shrimp turn pink and curl slightly.
  • Place the shrimp on a plate and serve immediately with toothpicks on the side.
