Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 c. chopped cooked chicken
  • 1 c. chopped celery
  • 1 ( 10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp. grated onion
  • 2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 1/2 c. slivered almonds
  • 2 c. crushed potato chips
  • 2/3 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese

Method

  • Combine all ingredients except potato chips and cheese; blend well.
  • Spoon into a lightly greased casserole; sprinkle with potato chips.
  • Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
  • Sprinkle with cheese and return to oven until cheese melts.
  • This recipe makes six servings.
