Ingredients
- 1/4 c. butter
- 3 cloves fresh garlic, crushed
- 8 oz. whole mushrooms, stems removed
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 12 oz. fresh shrimp, shelled and deveined
- 1 c. white wine
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch, mixed with just enough water to dissolve
Method
- Melt butter in large skillet.
- Add crushed garlic and whole mushrooms.
- Gently mix in lemon juice and shrimp.
- (Add more butter, if needed, at this time.)
- Saute 1 minute on each side, or until pink.
- Add wine; increase heat and bring to a boil.
- Remove from heat and add cornstarch mixture.
- Return to flame until sauce is thickened.
- Serve over rice.
