Ingredients
- 1 qt. cabbage, chopped
- 3/4 c. carrots, chopped
- 3/4 c. green pepper
- 1/2 c. onion
- 3/4 c. vinegar
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. mustard seed
- 1/2 tsp. celery seed
Method
- Chop cabbage, carrots, green pepper and onion; combine vegetables in a large mixing bowl.
- In a tight lid fitted jar, mix vinegar, sugar, salt and spices.
- Shake well and pour over vegetables, tossing until well coated.
- Refrigerate, covered, about 2 hours before serving.
- Makes 6 to 8 servings.
