Ingredients
- 2 c. chopped pecans
- 2 c. light brown sugar
- 1 c. plain cake flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
- 1 lb. mixed, chopped candied fruit
- 1 stick margarine
Method
- Grease and flour 8
- 14 x 2-inch pan.
- Pour nuts into pan and press
- down.
- Melt
- margarine and sugar over low heat; remove from heat. Add
- flour,
- well
- beaten eggs and vanilla; pour over nuts.
- Sprinkle fruit over batter. Bake at 250° for 1 hour.
- Cool and cut into bars.
