Ingredients

  • 1 (13 1/2 oz.) can crushed pineapple
  • 2 (3 oz.) pkg. gelatin
  • 1 (7 oz.) bottle ginger ale
  • 1 (1 lb.) can jellied cranberry sauce
  • 1 (2 oz.) pkg. Dream Whip
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans

Method

  • Drain pineapple, reserving syrup.
  • Add water to syrup to make 1 cup.
  • Heat to boiling and dissolve gelatin in hot liquid.
  • Cool. Gently stir in ginger ale.
  • Blend drained pineapple and cranberry sauce.
  • Fold into gelatin mixture.
  • Turn into a 9 x 12-inch flat dish and chill until firm.
