Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. shrimp per person
  • 1/4 lb. sausage per person, cut in 2-inch pieces
  • 1 1/2 to 2 ears corn per person, cut in 2-inch cobs
  • chopped celery
  • chopped onion
  • seafood seasonings
  • salt

Method

  • Bring large pot of water to boil (twice as much water as ingredients).
  • Add 1/4 cup salt per gallon of water.
  • Add seasonings, celery and onion.
  • Add sausage; boil 7 minutes.
  • Add corn; boil 7 minutes.
  • Add shrimp; boil 4 minutes.
  • Drain and serve in large bowl or tub.
  • Serves a crowd.
