Ingredients
- 1/2 lb cheddar cheese, grated
- 2 (15 ounce) cans chili, heated
- 1 onion, small chopped
- 1 (12 ounce) bag Frito corn chips, crushed
- 1 (10 ounce) can cheddar cheese
Method
- Cover bottom of 9 x 13 pan with a layer of Fritoes; sprinkle with onion, then cheese.
- Pour heated chili on top of that.
- Repeat layers, ending with cheese on top of chili. (need at least 3 layers).
- Bake at 350 until cheese is melted. Omit cheese soup if a drier casserole is preferred. (can use a deep baking dish instead of pan for more layers).
