Ingredients

  • 1 (12 lb.) ham
  • 1 (5 oz.) jar horseradish
  • 1 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
  • 12 sticks cloves
  • 1/4 c. raisins
  • 3 c. orange juice
  • 15 oz. can pineapple rings
  • 1 small jar cherries

Method

  • Wash and scrub ham with brush.
  • Soak in cool water overnight. Drain and dry.
  • Place ham in deep roasting pan with fat side up. Mix horseradish and brown sugar; add raisins.
  • Brush on ham, reserving 1/2 cup.
  • Pour orange juice in bottom of pan; cover and cook at 300° for 2 1/2 hours.
  • Uncover and place pineapple ring with toothpicks.
  • Fill rings with cherries and cloves.
  • Brush top with remaining brown sugar mixture.
  • Bake for 30 minutes at 350° or until pineapple shrink.
  • Serve with applesauce and hot mustard.
