Ingredients
- 2 c. flour
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 envelope dry yeast
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 c. warm water (105~ to 115~)
Method
- Mix flour, sugar, yeast and salt in a large bowl.
- Gradually stir in water.
- Beat or whisk until smooth.
- Cover with a towel and set in a warm place.
- Stir 2 to 3 times a day or until the starter is bubbly and produces a yeasty aroma.
