Ingredients
- 1 c. margarine
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. flour
- 2/3 c. cocoa
- 3/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. finely chopped peanuts
Method
- Cream margarine.
- Gradually add sugar, beating at low speed of an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
- Stir in eggs and vanilla.
- Combine flour, cocoa, soda and salt; add to creamed mixture, beating well.
- Stir in peanuts.
- Drop dough by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
- Bake at 350° for 12 to 14 minutes.
- Remove to wire racks to cool completely.
- Yields 5 1/2 dozen.
