Ingredients
- 4 c. sliced okra
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 3/4 c. cornmeal
- vegetable oil
Method
- Combine okra, milk and seasonings in a shallow dish.
- Let stand for 1 hour or until most of milk is absorbed.
- Dredge in cornmeal.
- Fry in vegetable oil.
- Makes 4 servings.
