Ingredients

  • 1 can Campbell's French onion soup
  • 1 stick margarine, melted
  • 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms (stems and pieces)
  • 1 c. uncooked Uncle Ben's converted rice (don't substitute)

Method

  • Mix soup and margarine and stir.
  • Drain mushrooms and reserve liquid.
  • Add enough water to the mushroom liquid to make 1 1/2 cups total.
  • Add mushrooms, liquid and rice to soup mixture and stir well.
  • Pour into a 10 x 6-inch (about) baking dish.
  • Cover tightly with foil and bake at 350° for 1 hour.
  • Serves 8.
