Ingredients
- 10 medium potatoes (2 lb.)
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- dash of black pepper
- dash of grated nutmeg
- 2 cloves garlic, pressed
- 1 1/2 c. whipping cream
- 1/3 c. milk
Method
- Peel and slice potatoes thinly (use food processor if available).
- Lightly grease casserole dish.
- Layer with potato slices.
- Sprinkle each layer with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
- Press garlic over mixture.
- Add cream and milk.
- Bake at 400° for about 40 minutes or until potatoes are soft, creamy and golden brown.
