Ingredients
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate bits
- 3 egg whites
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. finely chopped blanched almonds
Method
- Melt chocolate over hot water.
- Cool 5 minutes.
- Combine egg whites and vanilla; beat until stiff.
- Fold in sugar, almonds and cooled chocolate.
- Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes.
- Makes 4 dozen!
