- 2 cups onions, Chopped (Large Onion)
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 (16 ounce) can kidney beans (Light Red)
- 1 (16 ounce) can fat-free refried beans (No Fat Traditional)
- 1 (15 1/2 ounce) can chili beans, Mexican Style
- 1 (15 1/4 ounce) can whole kernel corn
- 1 (15 1/4 ounce) can diced tomatoes
- 1 (14 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
- 1 (4 1/2 ounce) can diced green chilies
- 1 12 cups water
- 1 (1 1/4 ounce) envelope taco seasoning
- 1 (1 ounce) envelope ranch dressing (Hidden Valley dry seasoning mix)
Method
- Brown ground beef and chopped onions with Taco Seasoning in a pot.
- Drain off fat from browned ground beef.
- Add all other ingredients.
- If you want the soup more like a chili consistency then drain off the kidney beans, diced tomatoes and whole kernel corn before adding them to the pot.
- Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 20-30 minutes.
