Ingredients
- 1 medium head cabbage
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 ribs celery, chopped fine
- 1/2 c. sweet pepper, chopped
- 1 c. white vinegar
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. celery seed
- 1 tsp. mustard seed
Method
- Shred cabbage; add salt.
- Let stand 1 hour, then squeeze out liquid. Mix all together with remaining ingredients.
- Do not reduce sugar or slaw won't be crisp.
- Put in Ziploc bag and freeze.
- You can freeze for 3 to 4 months.
- Delicious!
