Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 large onion
  • 4 bouillon cubes
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 pkg. kluski noodles
  • 1 qt. water
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 large can sauerkraut

Method

  • Brown ground beef in large ovenproof pan (6-quart).
  • Salt and pepper meat to taste and add onion, bouillon cubes, cream of mushroom soup, water and sauerkraut.
  • Stir thoroughly; add noodles. Cover and bake in a 350° oven for 2 hours.
  • Stir occasionally and add more water if necessary.
  • If too watery toward end of baking, remove cover.
