Ingredients
- 4 c. flour
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 6 eggs
- 4 Tbsp. Frangelico (a hazelnut liquor)
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 tsp. almond extract
- 2 c. hazelnuts or almonds, roasted and coarsely chopped
Method
- Mix all dry ingredients (except nuts) in a large bowl.
- Mix the eggs and liquids in another bowl.
- Add liquids to dry ingredients gradually until dough is stiff.
- Stir in nuts and mix well.
- Shape into 2 logs.
- Place on a greased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
