Ingredients

  • 2 lb. lean ground beef
  • 6 slices bacon, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 can each: green beans (drained), wax beans (drained), kidney beans and garbanzo beans (rinsed and drained)
  • 1 large can baked beans
  • 1 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 tsp. prepared mustard
  • 1/2 c. catsup
  • 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt

Method

  • Brown ground beef with bacon in skillet, stirring until crumbly; drain.
  • Combine with remaining ingredients in a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
  • Mix well.
  • Bake at 325° for 50 to 60 minutes or until heated through.
  • Yield: 8 to 12 servings.
