Ingredients
- 2 egg yolks, beaten
- 3 Tbsp. prepared mustard
- 1 Tbsp. water
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 c. whipping cream, whipped
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. prepared horseradish
Method
- Place eggs in a bowl and add sugar, mustard, vinegar, water and salt.
- Mix well.
- Pour mixture into a double boiler and cook, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens, about 4 to 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Blend in butter and horseradish. Cool thoroughly. Fold in whipped cream. Serve with warm meat.
- Remove from refrigerator 30 minutes before serving.
