Ingredients
- 3/4 tsp. curry powder
- 1/2 tsp. onion powder
- 1 tsp. margarine
- 1 c. water
- 1/3 c. rice
- 2 fish fillets (haddock, perch, etc.)
- 1/2 c. frozen peas
- sliced almonds (optional)
Method
- Mix curry powder, onion powder and margarine in skillet.
- Stir in water.
- Cover and heat to boiling.
- Stir in rice; reduce heat, cover and simmer 10 minutes.
- Arrange fillets on rice.
- Sprinkle peas around fillets.
- Cover and simmer until liquid is absorbed, 10 minutes.
- Sprinkle with sliced almonds.
- Makes 2 servings.
