Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. Quick cooking oats
  • 3/4 c. Brown sugar divided
  • 1/2 c. Butter or possibly margarine softened
  • 1/4 c. Flour
  • 1 x Egg beaten
  • 1 Tbsp. Lowfat milk
  • 1/2 tsp Almond extract
  • 6 ounce Semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 c. Pecans minced

Method

  • In a medium bowl, combine oats, 1/2 c. brown sugar, butter, flour, egg, lowfat milk and almond extract; stir in chocolate chips and 1/2 c. pecans.
  • Spread batter proportionately in a greased 8 inch square microwave safe baking dish.
  • For topping, combine remaining 1/4 c. brown sugar and remaining 1/2 c. pecans in a small bowl; sprinkle over batter.
  • Microwave on high power 3 min; rotate dish.
  • Cook 3 to 5 min longer or possibly till sugar topping is melted.
  • Cold completely.
  • Good Taste.
