Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3/4 c. Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 lb. Colavita flavored egg fettuce
- 1 c. Fontinella, grated
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1/4 c. flour
- 2 c. milk
- dash of pepper
Method
- In a saucepan, saute 2 tablespoons butter with garlic and mushrooms until soft.
- Set aside.
- In another saucepan melt 1/4 cup butter; stir in flour to make paste.
- Slowly stir in milk. Remove from heat.
- Stir in mushrooms, pepper, fontinella and 1/2 of the Parmesan cheese.
- Pour over cooked fettuce.
- Top with rest of grated Parmesan cheese.
