Ingredients
- 1 c. flour
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. canned sliced peaches
- 1 stick margarine, melted
Method
- Combine flour, sugar and baking powder in a 2-quart baking dish.
- Stir in milk and vanilla to make a thin batter.
- Place fruit over the batter and drizzle the melted butter over the top.
- Do not stir.
- Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes or until nicely browned. (Try cherries, berries or fruit in season.)
