Ingredients
- 1/2 c. Karo syrup (light or dark)
- 1/3 c. evaporated milk
- 18 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 3/4 c. sifted confectioners sugar
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
Method
- Line 8-inch square pan with plastic wrap.
- In a 3-quart microwavable bowl, combine Karo syrup and evaporated milk and stir until blended.
- Microwave on High setting for 3 minutes.
- Stir in chocolate chips until melted.
- Stir in vanilla, confectioners sugar and nuts.
- Blend together with spoon until thick and glossy. Spread into pan and refrigerate until firm (about 2 hours minimum).
