Ingredients

  • 6 c. sugar
  • 3 sticks margarine
  • 1 1/3 c. evaporated milk
  • 2 (12 oz. each) pkg. real semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 (13 oz.) jar Marshmallow Creme
  • 2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
  • 2 tsp. vanilla

Method

  • Stir together margarine, sugar and milk in heavy 5-quart pan. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
  • Boil 5 minutes over medium heat, stirring constantly to prevent sticking or scorching.
  • Remove from heat, gradually stir in chips until melted.
  • Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
  • Pour into two greased 13 x 9-inch pans. Cool.
  • Cut in squares.
