Ingredients
- 1 shredded head cabbage
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 grated carrot
- 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
- 1 c. vinegar
- 1/4 c. water
- 2 c. sugar
Method
- Mix lettuce and salt together and let stand for 1 hour.
- Drain well and add carrot and green pepper.
- Combine vinegar, water and sugar.
- Boil 4 minutes, then add to cabbage while hot.
- Cool and refrigerate until served.
