Ingredients

  • 6 ladyfingers or 9-inch square sponge cake, split
  • strawberry jello
  • vanilla pudding
  • 2 Tbsp. confectioners sugar
  • 1/2 c. whipping cream
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. slivered almonds or cake decorations
  • can mixed fruit (optional, not pineapple though)

Method

  • Split ladyfingers in two (or split sponge cake in two and cut one layer in sections the size of ladyfingers (12 sections). Arrange in single layer in bottom of square glass baking dish, 9 x 9 x 1 1/2 inch.
  • Make jello as instructed on box.
  • Pour over the ladyfingers.
  • Allow to set.
