Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 c. pitted Bing cherries
  • 1 pkg. orange jello
  • 3/4 c. chopped pecans
  • 3 oz. bottle sliced stuffed olives
  • 1/3 c. lemon juice

Method

  • Drain cherries, reserving liquid.
  • Combine cherry syrup, lemon juice and enough water to make 1 3/4 cups liquid. Heat.
  • Pour over jello and stir until dissolved.
  • Chill until partially set.
  • Add cherries, nuts and olives.
  • Pour into mold.
  • May also be chilled in a shallow pan and cut into squares.
  • Serve on crisp lettuce with mayonnaise.
