Ingredients
- 3 cups strawberries, sliced
- 5 cups sugar
- 1 (2 ounce) package Sure-Jell
- 1 cup water
Method
- Combine berries and sugar.
- Let stand 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Make pectin solution by stirring pectin in 1 c cold water and bringing it to a rapid boil for 1 minute.
- Remove from heat and add pectin mixture to the berries.
- Stir for 2 minutes.
- Put in jars or freezable containers and leave at room temperature for 24-48 hours - then freeze.
- Keep in freezer.
