Ingredients
- 1 c. elbow macaroni
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 lb. hamburger
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 c. bread crumbs
Method
- Cook elbows and drain.
- Place in buttered casserole dish.
- Melt butter in double boiler.
- Add flour, salt and pepper.
- Blend.
- Add milk slowly until sauce thickens.
- Add shredded cheese.
- Fry hamburger and drain.
- Combine with elbows.
- Mix thoroughly.
- Add sauce and top with bread crumbs.
- Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
