Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. milk
- 1 c. unsifted flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- soft butter
Method
- In a bowl, beat eggs with milk, flour and salt until smooth and the consistency of heavy cream.
- Heavily butter custard cups or popover pans and fill each about 2/3 full of batter.
- Bake in preheated hot oven (425°) for 30 to 35 minutes or until puffed and brown.
- Serve at once with butter or marmalade.
